Napa Commercial & Wedding Videographer - Winery Replanting Video

We love any chance we get to work in wine country. For those of you who are wine lovers, you’ll know that vineyards are seldom replanted. In fact, many grapevines can live to be 50 or even 100 years old. Thus, it was a momentous occasion for Opus One when they replanted one of their main plots.

“With over 150 acres of vineyards, in some of the most celebrated terroir in the Napa Valley, Opus One serves as a steward of the land. After careful analysis of our vineyards in the early 2000's, we created a strategic 30-year replanting program. And this spring, under the gentle, coaxing hands of our vineyard team, we replanted a plot of Cabernet Sauvignon.”

For this project we shot on RED to ensure we could pull high resolution frames from the footage for social media. It was a great way to show the process in a delicate manner, highlighting the work in beautiful cinematic slow motion.

We were very honored to be asked to capture this historic moment for Opus One and know the legacy they are planting in this ground will live on well beyond our years.
