Red Rock Lake Orland Wedding Photos - Tanner&Bridget

Tanner and Bridget were married on a beautiful Spring afternoon just outside of Chico at Red Rock Lake. The day before their wedding, it had completely down poured but everything cleared and we had nothing but blue skies for miles.

Bridget got ready on the venue's home property overlooking the lake. Tanner and his groomsmen finished helping set up the reception and headed back to their nearby hotel while we started bridesmaids photos around the property.

Tanner is in the Navy and currently stationed in Japan. He comes from a long line of amazing men who have served our country. Tanner and Bridget have spent a lot of their engagement apart and will spend time away these next couple of years. They shared vows in front of their family and friends and promised to stay faithful in good times and bad. These two are a great example of commitment no matter what circumstance is in front of you. Tanner is a loyal friend and Bridget is an amazing support especially to Tanner as he's overseas.

After the ceremony, we took portraits of Tanner and Bridget. We always remind of our couples to really soak in this time together and enjoy the moment. Wedding days are spent with loyal guests who want to say hi and celebrate with you. It is such a wonderful thing to look out on your ceremony and reception and see that everyone is there because they love and support you. Spending time with your guests is really important for our couples but since that is a priority, you don't always get as much alone time together with your spouse. Bride and groom portraits is an opportunity to soak in the day just with you and your spouse. Tanner and Bridget soaked in this time together before heading to their reception.

Tanner and Bridget's wedding kicked off our 2018 wedding season. What an amazing day! Thank you friends for inviting us to be a part of the celebration. You have an awesome tribe of people rallying around you and it's incredible to see their support.
